The Chief of Staff Boot Camp® is an intense two and a half day program led by nationally renowned faculty with expertise in coaching physicians and hospital executives. All aspects of planning, delivery and execution of efficient, modern healthcare services are covered through lectures, interactive sessions, and in-depth course materials. Healthcare trends are reviewed. The complex nature of medical leadership skills is outlined and discussed, as is the partnership between the Chief of Staff and the Chief Medical Officer. Staff communication skills and peer reviews, creative problem solving and tools for dealing with disruptive physicians are some of the other topics covered. Additional subjects include hospital finances, reporting requirements and incentive programs.
